Tamara is a musical director, currently based in London, England.  She works within the West End as well as regional theatres around the UK.  She is originally from Toronto, Canada where she worked within the Canadian theatre industry before relocating to the UK in 2014. 

Tamara is a trained classical pianist.  She studied for fifteen years under the tutelage of Marina Geringas and Susan Hall at the Royal Conservatory of Toronto. She was accepted in to the prestigious Glenn Gould School within the Conservatory of Toronto, and she later went on earn a Masters degree in Musical Direction from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  

SheHer w As a musical director, her work spans from full-scale productions, to workshops, readings, cabarets and concerts.  Outside of Musical Direction she also works as an arranger and orchestrator.

Tamara is very passionate about supporting the development of new musical theatre writing. She is very fortunate to collaborate with a number of composers within the UK and New York.   She works regularly in London with leading new musical companies - Mercury Musical Developments and Perfect Pitch.

She is the resident Musical Director for Signala concert series curated by director Adam Lenson. Signal showcases brand new and innovative writing from an exciting array of British writers. 

Tamara is passionate about education and development for young people...she works with National Youth Musical Theatre  and lectures at colleges in London including Arts Ed, Mountview, LAMDA and Associated Studios. 


She regularly collaborates with socio-political theatre company - Theatre Renegade - presenting concerts and events created to respond to, and bring awareness to, current social/political issues.
